Schedule of the Day

8:00-9:30 Children gradually arrive and are welcome to have breakfast. Parents and teachers check in with each other to support a successful transition.

9:30-9:45 Morning Circle. Children greet each other and ask questions about the day, discuss ideas, and sing morning songs.

9:45-10:00 Snack is prepared and enjoyed by the children.

10:00-11:00 Children move freely by choosing to be inside the classroom or outdoors. Ongoing activities are available for children to engage in.

11:00-12:00 Outdoor play, nature walks, or walks to neighborhood parks.

12:00-12:45 Lunch. Children enjoy our school lunch or enjoy their own and teachers join them in eating and conversation.

1:00-2:45 Quiet Time. Nap mats are set out for full day children. Story time begins.

3:00-3:15 Snack is prepared and enjoyed by the children.

3:15-4:45 Outdoor play. Children will engage in ongoing activities.

4:45-5:00 End of the day circle. We all say good bye and sing some songs.
